About me
Hi, I'm Daniella, and I believe that everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and supported through life's challenges. My journey into counselling began through my own experiences of wanting to help others find their way through difficult times.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in education at a special school, where I discovered my passion for supporting people who might struggle to find their voice in traditional settings. This experience opened my eyes to the importance of creating safe, accepting spaces where people can truly be themselves. I also worked with a charity supporting victims of domestic violence, which deepened my understanding of trauma and the incredible strength people show in their healing journeys.
My work with young people who were self-harming or living with ADHD and autism showed me how much difference it can make when someone feels genuinely seen and accepted. These experiences shaped my person-centred approach. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are, without judgement, and helping you navigate this difficult world at your own pace.
What draws me to this work is the privilege of walking alongside people during difficult times in their lives. I've seen how powerful it can be when someone has a space that's completely theirs - a place where they can slow down, breathe, and explore what's really going on for them. Whether you're an adult facing life's complexities or a young person trying to make sense of their world, I'm here to provide that safe, confidential space.
